Event Details

Join the Fenland Museums Partnership for another of our popular networking events to meet, discuss ideas and learn from fellow museums in the Fenland area. This meeting’s theme is partnership working. Any museums which consider themselves to be ‘Fenland’ or hold Fenland collections are welcome to attend.

The meeting is an opportunity to learn from each other and other museums who face similar challenges, buildings, audiences and collections.

All attendees are encouraged to share a brief update on a recent event, project or challenge faced by your museum so that we can all benefit from your experience or give advice from similar situations in our museums

There is also be an opportunity to apply for a small grant of £100 to support museums with partnership working ideas. We will ask you to present your idea to the group (just an informal 2 minute discussion).

Please ask Emily Allen for an applicaiton form, (emily@elymusuem.org.uk) and return it to her by 5pm on 24th April to be considered. The steering group will decide on the successful nominations and let you know within a week of the meeting.

The day will also include a tour of the Fenland Museum & Denny Abbey site by a member of the team & is a great opportunity to see how they work and learn from them.

Please arrive after 11am for an 11.15 start; lunch and refreshments will be provided
