SHARE Museums East supports several specialist networks. These self-managing forums support practice development and have links to national specialists. They also help plan and deliver training events and other initiatives.

Conservation Network

Supporting conservators in their work by facilitating information sharing and skills development.

Costume and Textile Network (CTN)

Supporting museums via projects that help improve collections care, display techniques and knowledge.

Front of House Network

Addressing current issues facing Front of House museum staff.

Heritage Engineering Network (HEN)

Supporting the management and delivery of specialised skills in industrial heritage.

Maritime Heritage East Network (MHE)

Bringing together museums across the region with maritime collections.

Museums East Archaeology Network (MEAN)

Building links between museum archaeological collections in the East and developing a strategic approach to the responsible management of these collections.

Natural History Network

Supporting natural history curators, conservators and learning officers in their work and facilitating information sharing.

Reminiscence Network East

Supporting staff from across the health and heritage settings in the East and providing resources and training for carers and health providers, families and museum staff.

Rural Museums East (RME)

Developing links with museum professionals and volunteers with a responsibility for rural museum collections in the region.
