Informal follow-up session to Planning and Delivering Carbon Reduction at Your Museum

Trainers: John Moore and Kathy Moore, consultants with NZC Services

Suitable for: Trustees, managers, all staff and volunteers who attended Planning and Delivering Carbon Reduction in Your Museum training session on 13 December, or watched the session recording on SHARE’s Youtube channel

About the session: Participants of the Planning and Delivering Carbon Reduction in Your Museum training session, and those of have watched the recording of that session, are encouraged to join John and Kathy again for this informal Q&A style session. You will have hopefully had time to explore the learning from the training session, and started to think how to apply it to your museum. This session offers the opportunity to ask any additional questions which have cropped up in the intervening weeks, or to request clarification about the measures museums can apply to their operations and buildings to reduce carbon.

The session will start with a 15-minute summary of the previous training session, followed by an open session for participants to ask questions and exchange views. Generic questions will be tackled during the session, but site-specific questions followed up by email after the session. The session includes this additional support time from John and Kathy so get your questions and queries ready!

This session has been funded by Heritage Fund and Arts Council England.

Please note, these tickets are for museums located in the East of England*. Museums do not need to be registered within the Arts Council Accreditation Scheme, but attendees should not be from a private collection.

*Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire (Peterborough), Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk
